D-140-BR: Deferred Salary Leave

  1. Participants in the plan shall be selected at the discretion of the board, considering the following criteria:
    1. Feasibility for the operation of division schools and facilities;
    2. Availability of programs and services for students; and
    3. Seniority and experience of the applicants.
  2. To be eligible, a staff member (as defined in Schedule A) must have fulfilled all of the conditions for any previously granted form of leave.
  3. Applicants who are approved to participate in the plan shall complete an individual agreement establishing the details of their participation (Schedule B).
  4. No administration or withdrawal fee shall be charged by the board.
