The 4TH Annual St. Albert Treat Accessibly Halloween Village takes place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Ellington Crescent. 2000 Guests Expected! Join Canada's largest accessible Halloween celebration featuring house-to-house trick-or-treating, entertainment, and inclusive fun for all abilities. Made possible by Canadian Tire. Children and Parents with and without disabilities are welcome to come together for a fully accessible Halloween experience. Event Highlights • Families From The Greater St. Albert & Edmonton Area ALL Welcome! • House-to-house trick-or-treating with accessible treat stations for all children, with and without disabilities. • Live DJ entertainment with family-friendly music. • Magicians and costumed performers bringing Halloween magic to the streets. • Daytime event designed so families can enjoy Halloween festivities before the evening. • Edible and Non-Edible Treats • Fully Accessible • Free Accessible Street Parking Near By • Transit Nearby • All Service and Kid-Friendly Pets Welcome • Outdoor Event This family-friendly gathering brings neighbours together to ensure every child can fully experience the joy of Halloween, during the day and in warmer weather. Treat Accessibly is a grassroots movement that began in Toronto in 2017 when 6-year-old Siena Padulo asked how a child using a wheelchair could trick-or-treat at their home. What began as one family making their home accessible has grown into a nationwide movement, with more than 250,000 homes across Canada now participating in barrier-free Halloween. Looking for a fun and meaningful way for your child to spend their fall break? At the Edmonton Humane Society, our Fall Day Camps give youth a unique opportunity to learn about animal care, welfare and what it means to be a responsible pet guardian — all while enjoying a day full of hands-on experiences, games and new friendships. Our Fall Day Camps are designed to blend fun with education in an engaging, animal-focused environment. Campers will explore the inner workings of a shelter and discover how they can make a pawsitive impact on the lives of companion animals. Throughout the day, campers will: • Go behind the scenes at the shelter • Learn about animal welfare and responsible pet guardianship • Create enrichment items to support animals in care • Discover the importance of compassion, empathy and volunteerism Each day offers a safe, supervised and enriching space led by our experienced staff — and a chance for your child to build confidence, curiosity and kindness.
