- The deputy superintendent, program & planning will ensure that the procedures outlined in Alberta Education’s Policy 1.2.1, Locally Developed/Acquired and Authorized Junior and Senior High School Complementary Courses are followed.
- A current list of locally developed courses shall be maintained by the director, curricular services and distributed to schools on an annual basis.
- The principal, following the same monitoring process used for all provincial programs of study, shall ensure the instruction in a locally developed course is consistent with its outlined program of study.
