St. Albert, AB, Canada
Grades served: Kindergarten to Grade 6

Scheduled to open for the 2017-2018 school year, Lois E. Hole will be a dual-track school, offering English and French Immersion programs. Each program will deliver the Alberta Education curriculum in classroom settings unique to the philosophy of the individual program. The school's philosophy is that students from all programs develop cultural appreciation, respect and mutual understanding of each other.
This dynamic, multi-faceted school climate will strongly support students in the areas of academics, physical fitness, fine arts and will be the district's French Immersion site for the Hockey Academy. The school will welcome students into a colourful, engaging and exciting new learning environment where dedicated and skilled teachers make learning come alive.
Located in Erin Ridge North, this brand new school will serve the areas of Erin Ridge and Erin Ridge North in the English program. It will serve Erin Ridge, Erin Ridge North, Oakmont and Inglewood for French Immersion students.
How do I register my child at Lois E. Hole?
Will yellow busing be provided?
Yellow busing will be provided to those students who are designated to Lois E. Hole but who live outside of the walk boundary.
If I live outside of the boundaries for the school, would I still be able to enroll my child at Lois E. Hole?
For the first year at least, registration will likely be restricted to those in the designated attendance areas.
Will the school offer a before-and-after-school daycare program?
Our plan is to contract with an outside provider to operate such a program within the school. It will, however, depend on whether there is available space in the school.
Will the school offer a St. Albert Public Preschool program?
As with the before-and-after-school daycare, we do plan on offering a preschool program, but it too will depend on availability of space.
I’d like to help fundraise for the playground. How can I get involved?
